Most product pages are written to make everyone feel like the right customer. This one is not. If Invytes is wrong for your wedding it is better for both of us that you find out now, so here is the plain version.
What it is
Invytes makes digital invitations: a designed, animated invitation page that lives at its own link, which you share on WhatsApp. Guests tap it and it opens in their browser — no app, no PDF, no download.
It handles the practical side of an event as well as the design: every function with its own date, venue and map, RSVP with guest tracking, add-to-calendar, a photo gallery, background music and a countdown.
You design it yourself. There is no waiting on a designer, and no back-and-forth over email — you type your details into the real invitation and watch it change.
How the pricing works
One payment, per invitation. The plan determines your RSVP guest-detail allowance; there is no monthly subscription.
- No subscription. You are not paying for the eight months between sending the invitation and the wedding.
- Choose your RSVP allowance. Publishing is priced per invitation; the plan and any packs determine how many guest details you can view.
- Free until you publish. You can build the entire invitation and preview it on your own phone before paying anything. Payment is the last step, not the first.
Plans differ mainly in how many guests' RSVP details you can see — 100, 300, or no limit. Every plan accepts and confirms every guest's response regardless; the cap is on the detail you can read back, and you can add capacity later without interrupting guests. Who it is for
Weddings with more than one function. Haldi, Mehendi, Sangeet, the ceremony, the reception — one invitation holds all of them, each with its own timing, venue and RSVP. Every plan includes multi-event invitations.
Anyone who needs a real headcount. If you have to give a caterer a number, tracked RSVP with per-guest links and CSV export is the reason to be here.
Families spread across countries. NRI weddings especially: everyone gets the same invitation on the same day, calendar entries work in the guest's own timezone, and there is no courier.
People who want to tell their own story. Combine photographs, illustrated chapters, a personal letter and your event details. Check your chosen font with your actual names and wording. Ask a fluent reader to review any translated text; Studio does not provide automatic translation.
People who care how it looks. The designs are typeset rather than templated-over. If you have looked at digital invitations and found them cheap-looking, this is the objection the product was built against.
Who it is not for
If you want a printed card. We do not print anything. Many Indian weddings need physical cards for elders and for the ritual first invitations, and that is a real need, not a legacy habit. If you need it on your own domain. Invitations live on an invytes.me link. There is no custom domain today. For weddings this rarely matters; for a company event it might.
If you want it done for you. Studio is a self-serve editor. Contact us before assuming design services or a custom commission are included in your purchase.
If you are looking for free publishing. Public demos are free to explore without an account. You can create a private draft in Studio and preview before paying, but publishing requires a purchase.
If most of your guests are not comfortable with links. Know your list. If a large share of your family will not open a WhatsApp link, a digital invitation will cost you attendance no matter how good it is.
Things worth knowing before you buy
- Purchases are final once payment is completed; see the refund policy for billing-error corrections. This is why the free preview covers the whole invitation rather than a sample — please use it properly.
- You can edit after publishing, as many times as you like, and the link does not change.
- Guests do not need an account. They tap the link and it opens.
How to check for yourself
Do not take any of the above on trust. Read a finished story, then build your own — enter your names and dates, and open the result on your phone. Demos need no account. Create your own private draft in Studio, then review before paying to publish.
